Day 1

Early morning board flight for Leh, which is probably the most mesmerizing flight over Himalayas. Upon arrival in Leh, traditional Himalayan welcome by our representative and transfer to a Ladakhi style hotel. Rest of the day free to take a complete rest for acclimatization due to the high altitude of Leh (3505 m). Evening take a walk in the colorful Market of Leh. Overnight in Leh.

Day 2

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the Indus valley, visiting Shey Palace - a ruined Castle, Thikse monastery,It is a glorious Buddhist monastery & a marvelous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. In the last visit the Hemis monastery- the richest monastery in Ladakh. Later back to Hotel. Overnight in Leh.

Day 3

After early breakfast drive to Lamayuru (127 Kms / about 5 hrs), on arrival visit Lamayuru monastery- known to be the oldest monastic establishment in Ladakh. Later we move towards to Uletokpo (55 km/ 2 hrs). Stay for overnight at Uley Ethnic Resort, a fine camp above Indus River.

Day 4
ULETOKPO - ALCHI – LIKIR – LEH (72 Kms / about 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive back to Leh en-route visit Alchi village, situated on the bank of Indus River. The village is famous for the existence of one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh (a national heritage) Alchi Monastery, mainly known for its magnificent and well-preserved 11th or 12th century wall paintings. Later proceed toward Likir, it contains the huge Buddha statue, museum & various old manuscripts. It also houses an interesting collection of thankas, old religious and domestic costumes and implements etc. Further continue drive to Leh. Arrive and transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 5
LEH – NUBRA, VIA KHARDUNG LA (PASS) (125 Kms / about 7 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley Known as Ldumra (the valley of flowers). There is only one road to Nubra valley, journey to Nubra valley leads through the world highest motorable road, Khardungla Pass which is at a height of 5606m. / 18380 ft above sea level and around 39 kms from Leh. The views from the top are spectacular. After crossing the pass, you see the main villages of Nubra Valley like Khardung village, Khalsar and Deskit. On arrival in Deskit Village, check into the camp & relax. Overnight in Deskit.

Day 6
NUBRA – LEH, VIA KHARDUNG LA (125 Kms / about 7 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive back to Leh, overcrossing Khardung la pass. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Evening free for own activities. Overnight in Leh.

Day 7

Morning transfer to Leh airport to board once again most fascinating flight to Delhi over the heights of the great Himalayas.
